- The 'Metamorphosis and Contrasts' box €“ Sips and Words d'Autore was created to explore dualism and human complexity both in the literary and wine fields. For this purpose Callmewine proposes the famous gothic tale 'The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde', by the Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson, paired with a bottle of Zibibbo Secco 'Orange' from the Sicilian winery Abbazia San George. €˜The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, first published in 1886, tells the story of a London lawyer, Gabriel John Utterson, who investigates the singular episodes involving his friend Dr. Jekyll and the evil Mr. Hyde. About the Abbazia San Giorgio winery, it is located on the beautiful island of Pantelleria, where in 2016 friends Battista Belvisi and Beppe Fontana started the winemaking business by adopting an artisanal production philosophy. Like the story 'The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde', which deals with the ambivalence of human beings, the Zibibbo Secco 'Orange' by Abbazia San Giorgio highlights the ambivalence of wine, with the category of macerated whites that is placed somehow halfway between white and red wines.
