Les Caillottes, the vineyard in which these Sauvignon Blanc grapes are grown, is pebbly with chalky subsoils - in fact, 'les caillottes' means 'the pebbles' in French! Organically farmed, it's a classically complex Sancerre and the mineral-rich terroir is reflected in the wine, which is dry with a lovely distinct mineral note.
