The big brother of the Stonybroke, showing greater complexity, fruit weight, power and concentration, yet the family resemblance shines through strongly with a similar complex, earthy, leathery bouquet that intrigues and delights. A wonderful style that is unique to the Hunter Valley and atypical to other Aussy regions producing Shiraz, but all the more reason to be put on a pedestal and admired.
