The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo of La Valentina is a red wine from Abruzzo which ages for 18 months, mostly in steel and for a small remainder in oak barrels of different capacities. It expresses a simple but identifying aromatic bouquet, with aromas of black cherries and raspberries surrounded by light balsamic and licorice puffs, revealing itself on the sip with frankness, enveloping tannins and an excellent balance between freshness and softness.
