This beer was brewed for the Smith’s NZ IPA challenge in Queenstown, and ended up taking out “Critic's Choice” which was a vote from the general public on their favourite from the day. This NZIPA is about as hazy as it gets, and includes a single hop blend called The Bruce. This is a combination of the freshest Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Pacifica and Pacific Jade cones from harvest combined into pre-mixed hop pellets. We can say we’re certainly a fan of The Bruce combo, delivering fresh gooseberry, orange peel and ripe tropical fruit with low bitterness and a smooth mouthfeel.
