Glengoyne 21 Year Old is a deep copper colour with meandering legs in the glass. The aroma is like to a Christmas cake in a glass, with lots of sweet dried fruit, sherry and baking spices. Glengoyne's characteristic fresh apple note is apparent, too. On the palate, sherry is the most prominent flavour with a little light honey sweetness and plenty of spices. The finish is long and dry with lingering spice and sherry. The 21 Year Old is blended from 100% Sherry casks, with the majority first fill European Oak Sherry casks. It is bottled, like all Glengoyne whiskies, without the addition of any colour. This outstanding malt is perfect for any celebration.
