- Vodka 303€ is the iconic distillate of the Squadron brand, dedicated to an episode of courage and pride during the Second World War. The inspiration for this creation comes from the true story of those hundreds of Polish pilots who in 1939 decided to join the Royal Air Force and continue to fight alongside the Allies against the common enemy. Squadron 303 represented the formidable British force that welcomed these willing comrades, celebrating each victory with the famous "shot of glory": a sip of vodka distilled by the soldiers themselves inside the air force base and through which they took a piece of their homeland with them. It seems that the vodka was cooled at high altitude, inside a special tank attached to the Spitfire: upon returning from the mission it was bottled in the pilots' flasks so they could celebrate their return to earth.
- "Vodka 303" is made by the French brand Squadron, inside its own distillery in Normandy. The selection of raw materials is rigorous and concerns only a particular variety of excellent quality potatoes, called King Edward: particularly rich in starch, they are processed according to absolutely traditional methods. The unique distillation takes place in small batches in classic copper stills with a discontinuous process, in order to obtain a vodka of great purity and intense and rich aromas, then bottled without any filtration. These unique characteristics give it an exceptional roundness, allowing the almond and brioche flavours to express all their intensity in a refined and complex blend, with great aromatic integrity.
