Trebbiano d'Abruzzo by Valentini is an oenological institution endowed with great charm and energy, which has become famous for its incredible longevity. It is produced using ancient techniques in large oak barrels, where the wine remains to age for 12 months. - Trebbiano by Valentini is a legendary and monumental white, considered one of the greatest Italian wines. Among enthusiasts, the name Valentini is equivalent to that of a myth, since probably everyone associates it with the emotion that a bottle of this historic winery made them experience. Historic in the true sense of the word, as the Valentini family has owned a large estate in Loreto Aprutino since 1600, where in addition to the amazing Montepulciano and Trebbiano, olive trees grow that give life to an equally prodigious oil. A traditional agriculture made of few gestures, which does not need certifications or slogans. Because what is found in the bottle is worth more than any word.
- Trebbiano wine comes from pure grapes of the homonymous vine grown around the Loreto Aprutino area. Everything is done in an absolutely artisanal way but with extreme attention, therefore the manual harvest is followed by a very careful selection of the best bunches. The grapes are then taken to the cellar, and after destemming, fermentation is started in large wooden barrels, only through the intervention of indigenous yeasts. Aged for one year in 50 or 70 hl oak barrels. The liquid does not undergo clarification or filtration.
