James Eadie's Single Malts are sourced from some of Scotland's most famous and lesser known distilleries. They select only the best barrels for bottling and are bottled directly without filtering or adding color. A superb single malt from the Scottish Highlands and Glen Ord Distillery, bottled by James Eadie as part of the Small Batch range. Distilled in 2011 and aged for nine years in x-bourbon casks, before bottling in 2021. The bottle has a nice oak image on the label, inspired by The Acorn pub, owned by James Eadie in the 1800s. Floral character on the nose, with notes of wood characterize the nose. Rich and expressive in the mouth with notes of honey, roasted nuts, pastel and dried flowers. Creamy, delightful and balanced with a long aftertaste.
