The Oracle Shiraz is one of Kilikanoon's most celebrated and award-winning wines and is a tribute to the diversity of the Clare Valley. The Oracle is also one of the original four wines created in 1997 among the first wines of the house and this flagship among the Shiraz named after the mythological Oracle (Oracle), where people go to gain wisdom and understanding. The Oracle captures the essence of Clare Valley's famous terroir, its unique provenance, strength and elegance. Sourced from Estate Vineyards on Mt. Surmon, Trillians Hill, Morrison's, Mort's along with the famous Attunga Vineyard, this is a true expression of Clare Valley Shiraz at its best. Low-yielding Shiraz plots were selected from each vineyard based on the concentration of flavours. Each lot was then vinified individually using traditional winemaking techniques before aging for eighteen months in a careful selection of new and aged French oak barrels.
