Valdesil pays homage to the River Sil, the backbone of Galicia, which forms a narrow valley as it flows through Valdeorras. A pioneering and revolutionary wine in Spain, the first white wine to be aged on its lees in steel tanks. It is made exclusively with grapes from vineyards owned by the Prada-Gayoso family, located on schist rock, located in the parishes of Portela (San Xulián) and Córgomo (Santa Marta), in the municipality of VilamartÃn de Valdeorras. The vineyards are managed according to the rhythm of the plants and a vegetative cover is maintained throughout the year, guaranteeing a living soil without erosion.
