This wine is a product of the interaction of geological, microclimatic and cultural contrasts. The grapes come partly from the Haberlehof in Pochi on the east side of the Val d'Adige and partly from locations in the valley in Penone above Magrè. In both cases, the vineyards are located at about 500 meters above sea level and offer optimal conditions for the grape variety. Here there is a rather cool mesoclimate with large temperature differences between day and night.
