A revival of the old style Powers single pot whiskey, Three Swallow is a modern take on what the original Powers whiskey tasted like back in the days of the John’s Lane distillery in Dublin. It's triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills and primarily matured in American bourbon barrels. The resulting woody character is given its signature balance and flavour thanks to a small sherry aged component. A smooth and balanced Irish whiskey that’s well worth investigating.
- Tasting notes: Orange peel and ripe pear on the nose with sweet spice and sherry notes. Robust and smooth on the palate with butterscotch and tropical fruits backed up by raisins and spice and a fruity finish with wood and spice notes.
