This Muscadet Svre et Maine is made from 100% Melon de Bourgogne grapes, on a subsoil composed of Orthogneiss, hence the name of the cuve. Orthogneiss is a magmatic rock which brings a beautiful minerality to this white wine.The Domaine de l'Ecu is 24 hectares of vines cultivated with respect to responsible agriculture. Organic since 1975 and biodynamic (demeter) since 1998, the estate is also part of the biodyvin label since 2014.
