Made up entirely of Mencia an indigenous grape variety to Galicia it is unoaked with a pure and lush palate of red fruits. A slate-like minerality balances the fresh fruit and translates the terroir driven winemaking of Pedro Rodriguez into the glass. Although entry level this wine is an exquisite and true expression of old vine Mencia made with care and talent. Mencia's versatility with food is particularly enjoyable but we suggest pairing this wine with a spicy dish to achieve the ultimate experience!
