The ultimate expression of winemaking at Mission, Huchet wines proudly honour Brother Cyprian Huchet. The son of a French vigneron from the Loire, he became New Zealands pioneering winemaker whilst working at Mission in 1871. Produced in very limited quantities and only from outstanding years. In 2018, only six barrels were selected for his special Cabernet Sauvignon. Gimblett Gravels fruit, harvested at optimum ripeness and aged for in French oak barrels for 24 months. Brother Huchet would have been proud to have his name to this bottle.
