This is a very special Fromm wine, note this is the second release of Cuvee ‘H’ a wine named after and produced in respect of winemaking legend Hatsch Kalberer. He’s made every wine at Fromm since their first vintage in 1992 – Cuvee H is a blend of Single Vineyard Pinot Noir parcels and proves that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Bob Campbell MW says “pure Pinot Noir with dark cherry, blackcurrant, violet and subtle herbal flavours ... An impressive wine with a Fromm signature”. Cuvée “H” is very much built with longevity in mind, but if you can’t resist temptation then an hour or two in the decanter will do this wine wonders.
