The Château du Taillan has been a family property since 1896 but today it is above all a modern story, told by women. Five sisters hold the reins of the Château located at the gates of Bordeaux and the Médoc. Each with their own personality, they write the history of the property and perpetuate this passion for viticulture and this historical heritage. The vines cover 30 hectares - at the heart of a domaine covering around a hundred hectares - two of which are Sauvignon Blanc (quite a rarity in the Médoc), the rest being planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
