Made from carefully selcted grapes; tempranillo, mazuelo and graciano, from some of Marques de Riscals best vineyards located in Laguardia and Elciego in the Rioja Alavesa region. After fermentation the wine is aged for a period of 18 months in American oak barrels to mature. A fresh, fruity wine with a lovely concentration, bursting with red berries and plums, complemented by vanilla and sweet spices from the oak. Full and supple with a long finish.
