Jose Pariente verdejo is one of the best Verdejo wines from Rueda and only a limited number of bottles of this Fermentado and Barrica are produced each year (approximately 4000 bottles). The Fermentado en Barrica is a Verdejo fermented in an oak barrel. Due to the education on wood, the Verdejo gets a nice combination of notes of tobacco and white flowers. The taste is medium-bodied, dry, with good acidity and "bite". It has a good balance between fruit and wood. Wonderfully fresh but with depth and complexity.
