22 Yards is well known in the cricketing world as the length of the pitch that the magnificent game is played on. Games are won or lost depending on how the ball travels that short but highly significant distance. Having taken some 1,700 wickets in his professional career, Sir Ian knows this only too well! We firmly believe it was fate that having spent a career thinking about 22 yards, it took 22 months to create and perfect this first, small batch London Dry Gin release and as a result, we couldn’t think of a more appropriate name!
