- The box Sips and Words of the Author – €˜Terror from Valtellina is a box set that recalls stories of terror and witches with the Sforzato della Valtellina Le Strie and the book €˜Tales of Terror by the American writer Edgar Allan Poe. Symbol of the Le Strie cellar are in fact the witches, "le strie" in the Valtellinese dialect, representing the darkest and most mysterious side of Valtellina. This small artisanal reality, located in Ponte in Valtellina, was born in 2003 from the commitment and passion of Stefano, Paolo, Luciana and Marisa, strongly intent on enhancing the territory by giving vent to all the qualitative potential of its most important vine. : the Nebbiolo. As for the book 'Tales of Terror', it is a collection of gothic and horror stories published way back in 1845.

The Sforzato della Valtellina by Le Strie is produced with only Nebbiolo grapes, locally called Chiavennasca, grown in terraced vineyards at altitudes between 400 and 650 meters above sea level. The grapes are subjected to approximately 2 months of drying in a fruit cellar before fermentation and of aging for over 24 months in oak barrels. The result is a wine of great concentration, complexity and expressive richness, characterized by persuasive aromas of ripe fruit and various spices.
