A Tale of the Forest is Glenmorangie's first ever whisky made from barley smoked with woodland plants.
The ever-changing wonders of nature that Dr Bill Lumsden, the brand's Creative Director of Whiskies, can see while wandering in the woods near his home. Indeed, this experimental limited edition evokes everything you can smell, hear or see in the woods. Dr Bill Lumsden created the notes of pine, juniper and smoked wood by reviving an ancient method of smoking barley with plants. These aromas are so unique that they led illustrator Pomme Chan to create her own interpretation of an imaginary forest, which is featured on the whisky's packaging.Tasting this whisky during the festive season will bring a little warmth and comfort to your heart.
