A supple and velvety wine from the Loire Valley.
La Cabernelle is a combination of two estates: Domaine de Pontonnier in Saint-Nicolas and Domaine Caslot in Bourgueil. The resulting vineyard has been cultivated exclusively in organic farming since 2012 and covers 35 hectares. The diversity of the terroirs and vines allows the creation of a wide range of wines. The wines are aged in the converted former tufa quarries.Cabernet Franc is a red grape variety that thrives in the Bordeaux and Loire regions. With a medium colour, it generally develops fine tannins and subtle aromas of red fruits and spices. This grape variety produces wines that can be enjoyed both young and after a long period of ageing.
