Onorevole is like saying ""the honourable"" in English and pays tribute to John and Fiorella Kirwan's good friend Mimmi, who was recently elected the local Mayor of a beautiful town in Italy where the Kirwan family used to reside. This lusciously soft, citrusy liqueur is described as the noble cousin of Limoncello, except, quite frankly, it's way better than any we've ever tried, which are usually, too cloyingly sweet. Meticulously crafted from ancient groves of citron fruit, grown on the shores of Lake Garda, it is crystalline, clean, pure, subtly sweet and thirst quenchingly fresh. This is a majestic liqueur that can be enjoyed between courses or mixed with tonic for a gorgeous summer cocktail that will transport you to the scented groves of Northern Italy. Amazing!
