Always up there as the finest 2 or 3 Sauvignons in Marlborough every year, Greywacke emphasises ripeness in the vineyard to produce a sophisticated and satisfying style of Sauvignon Blanc. Crafted by former Cloudy Bay founding winemaker Kevin Judd, the fruit comes from the Central Wairau and Southern Valleys. It seems the last few vintages have risen to even higher heights and this 2024 is nothing less than stunning. Greywacke deserves to be labelled with ‘Cult Status'.
