An incredibly vibrant and explosive red with loads of drink-young charm, this versatile red even takes a light chilling in the fridge very well. It pours a bright purple in colour, but make no mistake, this is no Rose. Te Mata reckons Gamay could one day compete with Pinot as NZs most popular light-bodied red and given what you normally get for a similar price, they may have a point!
