A relatively new range to Giesen,Uncharted, inviting you to discover the best of Marlborough. A place between the snow and the sea, where mountain ranges give way to rivers, and sunshine reigns supreme. Particular attention to detail is given to these wines, selecting small premium parcels of fruit and for this Pinot, it comes from the best Pinot sites in Marlborough, that of their Southern Valleys vineyard. The high clay soils result in rich, stylish Pinots with great ageing potential. All handpicked, destemmed and transferred to vat via gravity for fermentation. Some vats have a percentage of whole bunches adding complexity and supple, fine grain tannins.
