Part of the Pyramid Valley Pastures Collection, Manata is an assemblage of individual parcels from their Manata vineyard in Lowburn, Central Otago, paying homage to a romantic MÄori legend of this region. The sheltered valley with elevated terraces gently sloping to the north and soils of loess over deep gravel and pedogenic lime deposits produce grapes with floral and wild thyme aromas, black cherry and plum notes and fine, velvety tannins.
