Joseph Drouhin was a bold and enterprising young man who hailed from the Chablis region. In 1880, at the age of 22, he settled in Beaune and set up his own wine company there. His goal was to offer high quality wines that would bear his name. With nearly 90 different appellations, Joseph Drouhin offers a fascinating range of Burgundian terroirs in all their authenticity and subtle variations. Joseph Drouhin has adopted the biological and biodynamic approach. Only natural products are used in the vineyards and all procedures show the utmost respect for the soil, the vine and the environment.
