Belondrade and Ossian are considered the best white (Verdejo) wines in Spain. Both made from very old Verdejo vineyards. Made from 100% Verdejo yeast and their wine matures in oak barrels. Before bottling, the wine from the different barrels is mixed together in stainless steel cuvees. The wine is only lightly filtered. On the nose white fruit and lightly roasted aromas from the partly new oak barrels and the taste ripeness and fatness, yet sufficiently fresh due to the right balance with the acids present. A truly beautiful and special wine. In total, a few 10,000 bottles are made, of which only a very limited amount is delivered to the Netherlands. Incidentally, 2,500 bottles of the harvest in the past went to the restaurant of El Bulli (according to experts, this was one of the best restaurants in the world located near Barcelona) and this was Johan Cruijff's favorite wine.
