The 2019 Viñedo Chadwick is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon from Puente Alto, one of the best zones within Maipo. It is from a moderately warm vintage that yielded a wine with only 13% alcohol and good freshness. It contains about 3% Petit Verdot. Super elegant and that also explains the very high scores of Parker and Suckling. The vines were planted in 1992 and the vines were fermented in equal parts in stainless steel and concrete or troncoconical vats. Three quarters of the wine was aged in new barriques and the rest in Stockinger foudres for 22 months, including time for malolactic fermentation.
