Parusso is one of the most famous names in Barolo. Parusso is a rather idiosyncratic producer, who does things in his own way to make the best possible wine. The family owns vineyards in the communes of Monforte d'Alba and Castiglione Falletto, including many different crus. One of them is the famous Bussia. With grapes from the selected vineyard 'Munie' in Bussia, Parusso makes a Riserva, which is not marketed until later. This Riserva is only made in very good years.
