Tucked along the eastern edge of the house is an oak grove affectionately referred to as Grace's Grove. A winding path winds through the ancient oaks and scenic hills, offering views of distant vineyards and the occasional glimpse of Mount Hood. Like the ancient oaks that line the hilltop, Domaine founders Serene, Grace and Ken Evenstad , envisioned a clubhouse that could be built for centuries, and a place that would establish a sense of history in Oregon's wine country. Grace asked to preserve the oak forest as part of this timeless landscape. The clubhouse as they call it at Domaine Serene is named after the founder Grace Evenstad and the top wine of Domaine is also named after this.
