The Kilikanoon Attunga 1865 Shiraz is the top model of this winery which belongs to the absolute top from Australia, located in the Clare Valley. The grapes for this Attunga come from a very old vineyard planted in 1865, thus reflecting an incredible heritage and history of Australian Shiraz. Located just north of Auburn, the Attunga Vineyard produces unique shiraz grapes and is the icon of Kilikanoon. The extremely old vineyard should produce only 1000 KG per Hectare (this is 10%-15% of what a regular more commercial vineyard produces) and produces fruit that is small, concentrated and unique. Traditional management practices and techniques, including individual sensing during the harvest, ensuring that only the highest quality shiraz reaches the winery.
