Laurent-Perrier's NV Brut Grand Siècle #25 is a blend of the 2008, 2007 and 2006 vintages, of which 55% comes entirely from 2008. It is a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir. The Grand Siècle bursts from the glass with scents of nectarine, pear, orange oil and candied citrus mixed with notes of buttery pastry, brioche, iodine, dried white flowers and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and tart, with a fleshy core of fruit wrapped in tangy acidity. This almost perfect iconic champagne from Laurent Perrier is very elegant and harmonious and ends with a long, penetrating finish.
