The Château Pape Clement Blanc Grand Cru Classe de Graves is one of the highest rated white Graves. Pale straw yellow in the glass, the wine has tropical notes of warm pineapple, fresh mango and green guava on the nose plus hints of nutmeg, orange blossom, lanolin and mineral tins. Full, rich and seductive, absolutely loaded with layers of tropical fruit and spice, with a spicy line to support and a long, luscious finish. The Pape Clement Blanc is a blend of 57% Sauvignon Blanc, 39% Semillon and 4% Muscadelle. The wine was aged for 16 months in 55% new and 45% 2nd year French oak barrels.
