Ceretto is one of Barolo's most famous names. Ceretto built its wineries in 1982 in the village of Castiglione Falletto with vineyards in a number of famous crus, such as Brunate and Cannubi. Ceretto was one of the forerunners in making vineyards from crus at the time. Besides being active in Barolo, Ceretto also makes wine in Barbaresco and other areas in the Langhe. The Brunate and Bricco Rocche are the top models and are distributed by Place du Bordeaux. These wines come from the winery in Castiglione Falletto was built in 1982 and was created to vinify grapes that come from the best vineyards of the Barolo denomination. It was expanded in 2000 with the construction of the futuristic glass cube, which offers a perfectly integrated contrast between modern design and the profile of the surrounding hills. Bricco Rocche is home to the vinification and aging of some of the region's most prestigious crus, as well as those of its namesake: Brunate from La Morra, Prapò from Serralunga d'Alba and Cannubi San Lorenzo from Barolo.
