This blockbuster was created through a collaboration between Eduardo Chadwick and Robert Mondavi. For this vintage, the final blend was 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Malbec, 12% Petit Verdot, 8% Carmenere and 5% Cabernet Franc, so with more Malbec and considerably less Carmenere than in the past. 12% of the wine is aged in new Stockinger oak foudres and the rest in barrique for about 22 months.
