Founded by the Frerejean-Taittinger brothers, Champagne Frerejean Frères only makes Champagne from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in Grauves, Côte des Blancs. They are very finesse-rich wines with a special complexity. These very elegant and fresh Champagnes are produced with little dosage (only 6.5 grams per litre). They obtain their roundness and complexity by maturing sur lies for at least five years and often (much) longer. After many years of aging sur lie, the wines are aged for at least 1 year in our own cellars before these fantastic champagnes are released. Incomparable with the many commercial brands that invest the largest part in marketing instead of in wine.
