When young, Giodo's Brunello reveals cherry and floral aromas , wild berries, camphor ash and delicate spices. This wine exhibits a compressed sense of intensity that quickly expands after you take the proverbial lid off the box. Because it breathes in air and gets more volume, it also leaves a deeper impression on your nose and palate. It closes with a simple note of sweet cherry that makes for a perfect postscript. Full of incredibly integrated tannins that look like they aren't there. But they are and are comprehensive in the mouth. Great depth and agility. Just floats in the mouth.
