The Symington Family Estates Tinto (Quinta do Vesúvio Tinto is a blend of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca and a touch of Tinta Amarela. This icon is aged for 18 months in French oak (80% new). In the nose, the Vesuvio Tinto has fragrant aromas of ripe berries, citrus roses and light smoke/roasting notes from the beautifully integrated wood.Plenty of black fruit on the palate, complemented by licorice and ripe plums.This beauty has a wonderful balance between power and elegance in the long, polished finish.
