The MÂCON-VINZELLES “Le CLOS DE GRAND PÈRE†comes from a plot belonging to the maternal grandfather (Grand Père = Grandpa) of the family. The vines - 50 years old on average - are located on the lower part of the Pouilly-Vinzelles slope. They form a very old "clos" on a rocky vein of hard limestone. The terroir makes itself felt. The vines are on average between 30 and 100 years old and come from a plot of 0.99 Ha at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level. The grapes are picked by hand and the bunches are lightly pressed as a whole and receive fermentation and aging (approx. 11 months) in oak barriques.
