Château du Tertre is a more than 1000 year old estate in Arsac, within the boundaries of the Margaux appellation. The winery was founded by the noble family D'Arsac in the year 1143. In 1997 the Château comes into the hands of the Albada Jelgersma family, who also own Château Giscours. Last year the castle was sold again, this time to the Helfrich family. Chateau Du Tertre which is classified with the 5th Grand Cru Classe.
