This modern red wine from Mallorca is a blend of Callet, Montanegre-Fogonue and Syrah. The grapes are picked by hand and the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, but then the wine is allowed to mature for 12 months in oak barrels (70% French and 30% American). The results are impressive. A dark red color with a complex aroma of ripe red fruit and spiciness. The taste is intense and there is some bay leaf in it. As in the first wine, the AN, it mainly consists of the typical grape varieties of Mallorca. The big difference with the first wine is mainly the addition of Syrah (15%) that was used to give this second wine some more structure.
