Corimbo is the latest wine adventure from Bodegas Roda known for its fine Rioja wines. The Corimbo comes from the golden mile in the valley Ribera del Duero. The La Horra project was started in 2006 and the first vintage was vinified in 2008. The construction of the new bodega started in 2012. Bodegas Roda uses the thistle (corimbo) as its logo. After the selection table, the wine undergoes its maceration in stainless steel cuves. The malolactic fermentation takes place in foeders. Barrique aging for 12 months in 80% French and 20% American oak barriques. 1/3 consists of new oak.
