Château La Dauphine is not only one of the most beautiful 10 of the Fronsac appellation in terms of taste, but also in terms of domain and château it is one of the most beautiful in the region. This property of about 40 ha, is located on a slope next to the Dordogne and was owned by the Jean-Pierre Moueix family. Currently it is Jean Halley and now his son Guillaume who have completely transformed this cru to the highest level within the appellation. The vinification material has been completely renewed and the vines that have a reasonable age are the basis of a very good wine. The vineyards are now much better maintained and a second wine ensures that this 1st wine is at an even higher level than before. The Château strives for a better preservation of our planet and obtained the certificate HVE level 3 (Haute Valeur Environnementale) in 2018. With this they reached the highest level with regard to respect of man towards nature. In 2019, the wine was also certified organic, after 3 years of conversion to organic. This winery also has not the least advisor and oenologists: Michel Rolland Julien Viaud
