This traditional sparkling wine is made in Franciacorta DOCG which is located in the heart of Lombardy (North Italy). The producer is the Monogram winery, which in turn is part of Castel Faglia. This Franciacorta Brut Blanc de Blancs is made from 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Blanc grapes. The harvest takes place mid-August, exclusively manually, after which the grapes are transported in crates and then pressed gently. Primary fermentation 80% in stainless steel barrels and 20% in small oak barrels. Secondary fermentation in the bottle (classical method), followed by a maturation of 24 months.
