The Puglia Pop Luminaria Luminaria Primitivo di Manduria is a red wine made from 100% Primitivo which grow according to the old alberello method with a very low yield of a maximum of 1kg per vine. Primitivo is the most famous red grape variety from Puglia. Under the name Zinfandel, it is grown in the United States of America, especially in California, where it is one of the most widespread and appreciated red grape varieties. The name "Primitivo" comes from the characteristic early ripening of the vine, compared to the other varieties. One of the main features of Primitivo is first of all the large amount of sugar in the berries which, as a result, can produce wines with a high alcohol content, a combined property of a significant content of anthocyanins in the skins, which are the substances that give the color to the wine.
