Grapes from younger vines are used for Les Crestes. It is a blend of Garnacha with 20% Cariñena and 10% Syrah aged in second year French oak for eight months. The Mas Doix les Cresteds is a young, soft and aromatic Priorat with a juicy palate and a fresh personality, comparable to the beautiful Priorat wines of Maius. and also a bit of a Sindicat La Figuera by Rene Barbier (the vineyard is nearby). Really attractive and pleasant with excellent value for money Parker writes about the wine: "The young and juicy red Les Crestes made me think of a wine from the Rhône, with black berry fruit, spice, earth, smoked bacon and violet aromas"
